Kalle Saarinen is currently pursuing his Master’s degree in computer science and working as a research assistant for the CNIR group at the A.I. Virtanen Institute for Molecular Sciences, University of Eastern Finland. With a keen interest in cloud computing, open source software and high performance code this project presents an excellent opportunity for him to work with HPC and performance critical applications.
